It looks to be an installation issue, please repair the disk permissions as suggested in
http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=318 and then try to install again.
The installer says in the logs that it can't find /Library/LaunchAgents
It's strange because it's heavily used by Lion as well. Just double check that you really have that folder!
