I have encountered this several times.

Each time it happens, uninstalling the DisplayLink drivers, rebooting, then reinstalling (and again rebooting) seems to solve the issue.

It would be great if someone from DisplayLink acknowledges that this is an issue, that sometimes, the driver just *doesn't work* and needs to be reinstalled.

Or if that isn't fixable, perhaps at least allowing a "fresh uninstall/reinstall" of the driver in one step, instead of having to reboot twice.
