Everything is connected correctly.

I cannot get my third monitor to be detected.
I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad Laptop L520.
One monitor is connected and working with a VGA cable.
The laptop screen is my main display.
I am trying to connect a third display using a pluggable usb to hdmi adapter.
The third monitor is not detected.
