I think we have discovered what the problem is. The older firmware in the display has problems with
Intel Haswell platforms on USB 3.0. This firmware was created before Haswell platforms were available. This was fixed a while ago, and once the firmware is updated, the panel should work correctly on Intel Haswell platforms.
To get the firmware to update, it should be connected to a non Intel Haswell Windows PC, or connected using USB 2.0 (a USB 2.0 cable or through a USB hub). The display should then connect and the firmware updates. Once the firmware is updated, you can connect it back on USB 3.0 on Haswell and it should work correctly.
