I just cannot get either monitor to work with either computer when I connect them to the Display Link adaptor. I've cleaned and installed the latest Display Link software from the web site. I've got Windows 8.1 on one computer and Windows 7 on the other notebook. It seems as though the adaptor knows the 2nd monitor is there but is not relaying the signal to it. I have set the display to extend to the 2nd external monitor and I can drag a window (e.g. an Excel spreadsheet) across to the monitor but the screen remains blank and black and the spreadsheet just disappears off screen in the blank monitor. Cheers, Joe L
