Please answer below questions:
1. Can you check if different monitor connected instead of your Philips one also shows the problem?
2. Can you check if USB Display Adapter is visible in Device Manager when monitor disappears from it?
3. Can you gather logs again, but this time with "Advanced logging" enabled, as described here:
http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=269 (bottom of Windows section).
