I'm running into something similar to this thread on Windows 10:

Basically, the monitor WILL NOT work when plugged directly into a USB3 hub. I have tried on both an Anker 7-port hub and a Pluggable dual-display dock. This is running on a Mac Mini under Boot Camp.
What does work is the following:
- Plugging the USB cable directly into my machine's USB3 port off the motherboard. Runs perfectly, but I don't want to have those monitors right next to the computer.
- Plugging the monitor into a USB2 hub, then plugging the USB2 hub into one of the two above USB3 hubs. The monitor is detected and shows a picture, but has horrendously slow refresh rate.
Thing is, this all worked fine for me in Windows 8.1. I had no problem running two of these monitors from my Pluggable dock while also running two additional monitors off it's HDMI+DVI connectors.
