I'm at my wits end here and very frustrated. This docking station was highly rated on Amazon but I can't get it to work with my wife's work laptop (HP Elitebook 850 G1).
I've updated numerous drivers on the laptop, which helped with some initial issues. But now when I connect the extra monitor, it shows the screen for a couple of seconds then freezes. If I disconnect the dock, it just stops working altogether. I went through DisplayLink's
Windows troubleshooting page for repeated disconnecting and reconnecting, or freezing.
Now I'm out of ideas so I ran the DisplayLink support tool (results attached). Any thoughts are welcome.
