DisplayLink doesn't make any end product so I have a few questions for you to understand the behaviour you are experiencing.
1. Is there a splash screen when the monitor is first plugged with a logo?
2. Is the splash screen reappearing when it restarts when playing the film?
3. What type of cables is used between the computer and AOC monitor? How many USB plugs does it have, approx. length?
4. Do you have the issue on any USB port of the computer?
This sounds like a power related problem. Hence my questions focused on this.
But if you have other information, please do share them.
