1. No there is no splash screen when its first plugged into the usb. It just switches on and becomes my second monitor.
2. What splash screen am I looking out for? When it restarts, it turns black completely, after a few seconds it switches on again as if I plugged it into the usb.
3. The cable is just an ordinary usb that came together with the AOC monitor.
4. No issues on the USB port whatsoever.

I notice that this is happening on random intervals when I boot up my computer. Sometimes the monitor never even screws up, and other times it will screw up all the time until I restart.
