Hello,
Thank you for your patience whilst I was on holidays and for posting the detailed description with the logs so I have everything to diagnose straight away!
You are correct this device does not have auto-install and should work.
What you are experiencing is something we've been working with Microsoft to understand... but we are unable to get a USB analyser on it as, as soon as you plug something else in line, the device starts properly. This is a very low level USB communication problem. We believe this is in the Windows USB driver, but we need to help them troubleshoot this, or find a workaround.
Would you have a USB extension lead or a USB hub you could connect your unit through?
This has solved the issue for people who created tickets about this.
We keep working on it with Microsoft to find an elegant solution, but unless we can reproduce it and analyse it, progress is extremely difficult.
Kind regards,
Alban
