Hi there. I'm using:

The 1.2.65 driver
Ubuntu 16.10
A monitor connected using HDMI via USB docking station (http://plugable.com/products/ud-ultcdl/)
A Dell XPS 13 9360
Out of the box graphics and X configuration.

The performance of the monitor connected to the dock's DisplayPort Alt Mode port is normal.

The performance of the DisplayLink connected monitor is pretty bad. The CPU usage of the DisplayLinkManager is high but I can live with that. However the lag on the monitor itself makes it unusable at times. It's worst with Chrome but still noticeable with terminal windows, Thunderbird, IntelliJ IDEA, HipChat and many other apps. glxgears runs at 1 FPS when the window is on that monitor.

Is there anything I can change or tweak to make things more usable?
