Hello,

I've split the thread as it has nothing to do with the other posts: restarting a Windows service wouldn't have an impact on link negotiation as it's a hardware feature taking place on the dock and the network physical interface only.

Would you please be able to qualify what you mean by unusable and unstable?
Is your network adapter reporting as "media connected"?
Does it have an IP address?
Is this a speed issue or you get time out on websites?

The last link of my forum signature gives details on how to create the ZIP file of the logs.
You can gather them when you have a problem present and upload them here for analysis. Only employees can download them.
