Default Lenovo USB 3.0 Basic Disconnecting Frequently

Hello - I have gone through all of the steps on the page about multiple disconnects and reconnects. I thought I fixed the problem by using a different USB port on my laptop, but it just happened again.

How often does the issue occur?
- 3-5 times per day
How do you invoke the issue?
- Usually typing or moving the mouse
How do you recover from the issue?
- It recovers automatically
Was the issue present in older versions of DisplayLink software?
- I used the same USB Hub on my Lenovo X1 Gen 3 for years without an issue. It is now happening on X1 Gen 7 - EVERYTHING has been updated, including Bios
How are you connected to the DisplayLink device? Directly or through a USB hub?
- USB cable that came with the Lenovo USB 3.0 Basic Hub
