I just received the DisplayLink for x-mas and I downloaded the new 1.2 download as I have BigSur.

I followed the steps is shows the icon, but when I click the app it won't open and I don't see it under the Screen Recoding under Security & Privacy.

I have looked through these forums and I have not seen any answers as I have tried a few suggestions for similar sounding issues.

I love the idea of this but I may have to return it. Can anyone assist me before I take this measure.
