Hey all.

I am trying to get dual external displays to work on Macbook pro 2012 retina Catalina 10.15.7.

Purchased Alogic Mini Dock DV3 and using it via USB-C to USB-A adapter (supplied with Alogic). Installed Display Link Manager and have only 1 HDMI output being recognised through the dock. Have tried reinstalling Display Link etc with no luck.

I have previously used my dual external displays with direct connections working fine (1 thunderbolt to HDMI, 2nd straight HDMI) and works fine.

Any ideas what is going on?

Is this a Mac to USB A dock limitation?

Any other suggestions......i.e. get a Thunderbolt 2 dock? Will this be better than USB C to A dock?
