It sounds like you've got an issue with your Windows installation. Each version has more than thousands of downloads, so if it was an issue with the file we'd have more posts.
I recommend you:
- Download the corporate preinstall package (today, latest is 11.4M0),
- Unzip the content into the folder, you must unzip, you can't just click and go into the archive,
- Go to subfolder x64
- Right click on dlidusb.inf
- Click install, this will add the driver to the driver store without going through the installer.
