Tl;DR: yes, please make a command-line tool to enable and disable individual DisplayLink displays.

I've had a good experience using a DisplayLink dock to turn on and off a secondary display for screen sharing that is also a drawing tablet. It is a Wacom One 13.

Being able to turn on/off the display from the menu bar is very convenient, as I normally use a big screen for my work until needing to share.

I can also use a USB switch so the same tablet is usable by personal and work laptops with the press of a button. So easy!

The only way this can be easier is if I could enable/disable my DisplayLink-connected display(s) with a command-line tool, so that it can be automated with other workflow automation tasks. It would be enabled when switching to "drawing" or "meeting" tasks, and disabled when done. This is the one task I haven't been able to automated to date, so to me it would be a huge improvement.
