Default Single Dell Ultrawide connected to PC and MacBook Pro

I am having a terrible time trying to connect all my devices so hoping someone here can point me in the right direction...

I have a*Dell U4025QW which I use with my personal desktop pc (Alienware R15 Intel 13900KF & RTX 4090),*a humanscale m/connect 3 pro dock*monitor arm combo, and a 2021 MacBook pro M1. Trying to connect all of this together as efficiently as possible with minimum wires/clutter.

The Alienware is my personal pc that I use primarily and want to make sure it is displaying as 5K 120hz on the monitor - the macbook is my work laptop that I plug in to use on days I WFH. I have one wired keyboard + a wireless mouse (both Alienware if that matters) that I'd like to be able to share b/w both computers using the Dell monitor’s KVM.

Lastly, preference is to utilize all the m/connect dock inputs under the desk first and then anything else plugged into the monitor ports for ease of cable management. The mconnect has a single usb c cable that plugs into the MacBook and I would like to keep that a single connection so I am not maneuvering multiple wires every time I take the MacBook to work.

Is the above setup possible? What additional cables / hubs / adapters do I need and in what order should the devices be connected? I have scoured Google, reddit, dell and Humanscale support with no luck. I was told I need a display link compatible adapter if my computers don’t have alt DisplayPort - this is where one of the support people suggested this startech adapter but, without any clarity on where this even connects.

Any help appreciated!!
