For reference, there is no automatic update mechanism for the DisplayLink Manager Application on macOS. The version will not update unless you do so manually.
With that said, the previous version of the DisplayLink Manager Application is available to download under the 'Legacy Releases' section of the the download page (you have to click to expand it) -->
