Yeah, you can totally do this. Alienware should go DisplayPort → Dell directly for full 5K120Hz. MacBook goes USB-C into m/connect dock. Keyboard and mouse should plug into the Dell monitor for KVM to switch cleanly.
Just be careful – not all USB-C cables handle full DP Alt Mode. Get a good brand one.
