Sometimes after DL crashes, the other non-DL monitors continue to work and I can start DL again. Sometimes all monitiors including built in do not work, I can hear the game playing from the music. I then have to hold down power button to reset MBP.
I sent an email to:
technical-enquiries@synaptics.com with the the output from the utility 5 days ago, I think it has analysis of the crashes in the file. I have not heard back.
Can I expect a response?
