same problem here - battling with this for months
Exactly the same problem here, often Display Link will report No Monitor on one or both of the external monitors. When it does the resolution is way off and unworkable.
I've tried various workarounds, with varying levels of success and reliability throughout the DisplayLink 12 releases and no less reliably in DisplayLink 13
1) Quit and restart DisplayLink
2) unplug dock from Mac and plug in again
3) unplug monitors from power and back in again
Unplugging the monitors was most reliable until version 13, now it rarely helps.
Setup is:
- Mac Pro M3
- DisplayLink Universal Dell dock D6000
- 2x Dell U2414H monitors
Just tried going back to version 1.11.0 and it was worse not better.
