It means that if this is in fact the product you are using -->
https://www.belkin.com/p/usb-c-11-in.../P-INC004.html then the product does NOT have DisplayLink technology inside of it.
Because it doesn't have DisplayLink technology inside of it, the DisplayLink software will not change the behavior of the product and DisplayLink the company will not be able to assist you. You may want to consider reaching out to Belkin directly for assistance.
