This would confirm the problem is not related to low processing resource when the issue occurs. Would you be able to:

Capture a video when the issue is active - preferably high fps, e.g. "slow motion" if recording with iPhone. I guess the video file will be to large for an email, so some file sharing service will be required.
Collect logs following this FAQ: https://support.displaylink.com/know...to-displaylink and send to technical-enquiries@synaptics.com
