I did a quick test and I wasn't able to reproduce it locally. Would share more details?
- What is your monitor setup (number of monitors, their resolution, physical layout)?
- Is laptop's lid open or closed?
- What is your DisplayLink product?
Also make sure "Automatic app startup" option is enabled in the Settings tab of DisplayLink Manager when logged in to your daughter's account.
