Chiming in here to say I seem to have found the same issue running on my two Macbook Pros. Different docks, different monitors, same problem. Currently running displaylinkmanager 17.0 build 24 along side Macos 26.6.2 on one system, and along side Macos 27.0 on the other with the same symptoms. The memory usage grows seemingly without bound until system instability results. recently I found it consuming over 8GB on one system (roughly 1/3 of total system memory!). In another instance it had grown to 15.5GB. Restarting the "DisplayLinkPrivilegeHelper" temporarily frees the memory, but then it begins consuming it again immediately. Observed memory growth rates range from ~500-900 MB/day.
I don't see any mention of this in release notes, is this something Synaptic is tracking? Is there a timeline for resolution?
