Regards,
My impression based on your description is that you are using a Dell WD15 docking station --> https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/e...g-station-wd15

Presuming for the moment that my understanding is correct, the Dell WD15 docking station does not have DisplayLink technology inside. As a result, the DisplayLink application is not applicable, and DisplayLink will not be able to help.

The Dell WD15 uses DisplayPort Multi-stream technology (aka DisplayPort MST) in order to drive the dock connected displays. Note that 'DisplayPort' and 'DisplayLink' are not the same, they are very different technologies.

Apple Mac systems do not support DisplayPort MST technology. This is why the image shown on both displays connected to the dock is 'mirrored'. This is a limitation of macOS, not a limitation of the Dell product.

In order to connect two displays to your MacBook Air M1 laptop, you will have to use a different product based on DisplayLink technology. DisplayLink has a guide to products that use their technology here --> https://www.synaptics.com/products/d...ylink-products
