Default DisplayLink won't work on Ubuntu 16.04
I have installed the Display Link software on an Ubuntu 16.04 laptop and whenever I plug the DisplayLink unit in to the USB port, X crashes. There is an indication in the logs that there has been a segmentation fault.

I attach the DLSupportTool output zip file.
