I'm trying to connect ACD to my new Macbook 15" Late 2016.

A description on Satechi site says it should support 2560x1600 through DVI, and Satechi support person explicitly told me this dock is suitable for Dual-link DVI.

Still the highest resolution I can get is 1280x800. Scaling doesn't work.

The dock needs Displaylink drivers so I may assume it uses Displaylink chip. And it seems that Dual-link DVI is not supported at all!

Is Satechi simply lying to its customers?
