Had an older intel mac mini fail. When switching to new mac mini screens connect but stay black. They are visible inside the displaylink application and inside the display settings of the mac. However, they are black in extended display mode. When I change them to mirrored, they work fine.

Is this an error confined to the M1 mac Mini, should I return this one and get the intel version to get this working now?
