Ok i've tested several things:
- Without the desktop speakers (which are connected through USB btw) the sound plays back through the laptop speakers. This is fine and no problems occur.
- With the desktop speakers connected to the laptop directly and the laptop connected to the wireless dock there is not a problem either.
