I am pleased to announce the fifth beta release of 1.7 DisplayLink Mac Software.

The intention of this release is to add support for Mac OSX 10.7 (Lion). This release builds on beta 4, and should be used in combination with Apple 10.7.2 update.

There is still a workaround for an Apple issue in this release. On Lion (10.7.x) systems with NVIDIA 9400M/9600M GPUs a dragged item (icon, window) cannot be released. Apple has been informed of this issue. The workaround is disabled if the System Preferences->General->Security->Require password after screen saver begins setting is set to "immediately".
