I don't know whether this is the right place to report problems, please move wherever you see fit.

Just had a kernel panic after connecting my iPhone 4S via USB. The display was not connected. The report says:

BSD process name corresponding to current thread: DisplayLinkManag

so, I guess it's relevant here. The Macbook restarted once again, also after I connected the iPhone, (EDIT: the problem persisted, had to uninstall the driver). Curiously, the system.log contains a record matching the time of the event:

29.06.2015 12:52:43.000 kernel[0]: considerRebuildOfPrelinkedKernel com.displaylink.driver.DisplayLinkDriver triggered rebuild

My OS version is 10.10.3 (14D136). I can provide more details on my configuration via private messages.

EDIT: the issue seems to have something to do with the connection/disconnection of USB devices. I figured I had a faulty USB cable connecting the iPhone to the hub, which may have caused a "flaky" connection. Anyway, after uninstalling DisplayLink driver the problem seems to be gone.
