DisplayLink Forum - View Single Post - Stop Install Software at every Boot or USB plugin

Every time I turn on my computer, or every time I plug in the USB display adapter, it wants to re-install. If I cancel, the display adapter works fine. If I install again, the display adapter works fine. Is there way to stop this? Otherwise the device runs just fine.

Dell Studio PP310L Laptop with Intel Core2 Duo running Windows 7. Using a Viewsonic VX2235 at 1050x1680 from the HDMI adaptor. Using a BenQ G2420HD at 1920x1080 from the Netflix DisplayLink adaptor with driver 5.5.29055.0 which Windows says is the latest version.
