Hello,
The DisplayLink Manager app is in development and distributed as an early preview. It has the following limitations we are currently working on, some of them with the OS vendor.
- Number of external display limitation of 2 lifted with the beta, now back to 4 external displays like with the classic driver,
- Rotation is not supported,
- Clamshell (Closed lid) mode is not supported,
- Login screen it not supported.
In your case if you are unable to use Clamshell mode, we recommend you stay on the classic driver -

Ensure that you uninstall Beta driver first though. You can find it in the Applications, just move it Bin.
