Experience the same problem. Did try it with 2.3b and had no luck. When i uninstall display link it works just fine.
From what i've read the problem occurred in 10.9.2 where a lot of third party application broke airplay mirroring.
Using 10.9.5 with display link 2.3b and Apple TV 2.
