Hello Michael,
So I unstalled the DL driver - EVDI gone. But still the same error with the xubuntu display manager, with arandr and xrandr. tried
xrandr --setprovideroutputsource ... but no joy.
I've put some samples of checks below in case they help you - I'd be very grateful if you can give any further advice or suggestions please.
