Guys,
I seem unable to get any kind of output from my macbook air to a (white) displaylink usb->hdmi adapter purchased recently. I am running Yosemite 10.10 and the 2.3b driver and have tried installing and uninstalling multiple times. It doesn't appear in the USB section of my system. I have attached the output of the LogSupport tool. Can anybody help me ? |

The device in the logs is not using DisplayLink technology. I'd suggest to go to the device manufacturer website and download the appropriate drivers. Cheers, Carlo |

Hi Carlo,
Thanks very much for your reply, Their download page (http://www.cablematters.com/cs-Downloads.aspx) links directly to the http://displaylink.com/support/mac_downloads.php driver download page. Which driver should I be using with my hardware? I presumed the 2.3 Beta should be ok? Im wondering if perhaps mine is an older USB3 device which actually doesnt use the DisplayLink driver. ![]() |
