MacBook Pro + HP G4 Dock Issue
Hi,
I am currently using MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports), and is on macOS Catalina 10.15.7. I am using HP USB-C G4 Dock to extend my views to two other monitors. Before it was working with my MacBook Air 2017 then changed my laptop to MacBook Pro. When MacBook Pro is plugged-in via USB-C in the dock, it charges which means that it has successful connection, but nothing appears in the monitors, and says “no monitor detected” in the DisplayLink Manager tab. To date, I have installed the latest DisplayLink Manager, and also its plugins. I attached here also the DisplayLink logs. Lastly, I checked the kernel and it is loaded with "yes". I hope to hear from you soon about your expert opinion about this issue. Thank you. Regards, DK Last edited by dakam31; 10-25-2020 at 09:47 AM. |

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out! If this is the docking station that you own: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05861464 please note that it does not use DisplayLink technology. Looks like it uses Thunderbolt. Please contact the product manufacturer for further support. Best regards, Katarzyna
