Windows 8 will not boot after DisplayLink install

I have a Dell XPS running windows 8 with the Intel 7 series/c216 usb chipset. When I install displaylink, my pc requests that I reboot. At reboot, Windows wont come up and I have to restore Windows from a previous checkpoint. Any ideas? is the Intel chipset not supported? I have checked and I have the latest drivers install for my usb devices

Hi,

This sounds like a USB enumeration issue.

Can you attach the logs?
