Hello,
I just updated a second machine from Win7 (installed Version 7.9 before the windows update) to Win10 and this time I did not get the BSOD (http://displaylink.org/forum/showthr...8006#post78006) everything was fine, the DisplayLink software shows this box saying "first time preperation" and wants a restart. So far so good, but after a restart the screen is blank, the monitor LED indicates no signal but connected, the DisplayLink Adapter shows a green light (which means online) and the device Manager shows a USB Display Adapter without warning/error (I trued two devices: USB3.0 Dual Video Dock and USB to DVI-17). I also tried deinstall, cleanup tool and a new install, but the screens stays blank. I just recognized there is a difference between the USB to DVI-17 and the USB3.0 Dual Video Dock: USB3.0 Dual Video Dock => Monitor LED blinks saying connected but no signal USB to DVI-17 => Monitor LED is constant on which indicates a signal (but is showing a blank screen). Graphic Board is an Intel 550 once again (driver version 10.18.15.4256). Any Ideas how to get this to work? Thanks, Chris |

I have the same problem. Just updated to Windows 10 and installed Displaylink 7.9 (and reinstalled with clean) USB 3.0 to Targus ACP70USZ. Everything works fine except the display will not wake when booted and some times after the PC wakes from idle. Problem started after install of Win 10.
When I cycle the power on the display twice, everything works fine. Always 2 power cycles at the display (an aged Dell SP2008WFP) to wake and it works fine. Displaylink always recognizes the extended display even if it is blanked. I have tried both the Digital and HDMI interface and both have the same issue. My wife has the same setup with an aged HP extended display and a RGB Analog interface. Everything works fine on that HP17 with Win 10?? Both PCs have Intel and NVIDIA video. Just forced displaylink to use the NVIDIA and hoping that solves the issue. Any comments appreciated Last edited by dant2757; 08-19-2015 at 02:24 PM. Reason: BTW: Everything worked fine on Windows 8.1. |
