Question Wake-up Win10 Notebook via ITec USB 3.0 advance Docking Station?

Hello,

I want to wake-up my Win10 Notebook (Lenovo Thinkpad E130) via ITec USB Docking Station from standby modus. Is there any possibilty to give the wake-up signal with usb mouse or usb keyboard which are connected with the docking station?

Best

Hi

This will work as long as your BIOS supports USB wake. This feature is independent of DisplayLink as we are just another device on the USB bus.

Hello Wim,
the BIOS supports USB wake. I can wake-up the Notebook by USB-keyboard or by USB Mouse which are directly connectet with the notebook. When thy are connected with the Docking station the wake-up dosnīt work.

Do you have a solution for this problem?

Hi,

I'd recommend contacting the dock manufacturer for their advice.

Thanks,
James
