I’m experiencing some slight lag when using the mouse and typing, especially when working across two of my three connected monitors.
Here’s my setup: I’m using a MacBook Air M4 running macOS Sequoia 15.5, connected to a TobenONE DisplayLink docking station with 4 HDMI ports, 120W charger, USB-C to Thunderbolt 4/3, compatible with Windows and MacBook (4 USB ports, 2 USB-C, Ethernet, SD/TF, and audio). I have three 100Hz Samsung monitors connected to this docking station. I noticed this minor lag both with the M4 and an M1 MacBook, so it doesn’t seem to be specific to one model. I’ve already reinstalled the DisplayLink Manager driver several times and tried adjusting the settings, but the issue persists. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to configure or optimize the setup to eliminate the lag? |

Hello cledsnato,
Thank you for sharing your issue with us. Please ensure that you are running the latest version of the DisplayLink Manager app, available here. We recommend temporarily setting all connected monitors to 60Hz to check if that improves responsiveness. If the issue persists, please contact us directly and share your DisplayLink log files for analysis.

Hey, I'm also dealing with significant mouse lag. It's on the 2nd monitor port. It seems like the keyboard is typing okay, but the mouse is lagging/jumping around. Very confusing how to address this. I have the most recent update along with the M4 chip apple air setup. Also running at 60hz.
Any thoughts on how to address? Thank you! |
