Default MacbookPro M1 ThinkPad ZDTOOF36 issues

Help please!
MacbookPro M1 ThinkPad ZDTOOF36 - Displaylink 1.12.2
Displays tab shows:
Please connect your DisplayLink device
After connecting accessory to this Mac via USB, a system prompt may appear.
Please click "Allow" to ensure this device is working properly.

Hello snap6,

Please make sure you have the latest version of the DisplayLink Manager app installed.

Please try to follow these steps:
1. Unplug the DisplayLink device from your Mac.
2. Plug it back in directly to your USB-C port.
3. You should see a system popup asking for permission. Please click "Allow".

Thank you for your reply. I do not receive any system pop ups after reconnecting. Previously I uninstalled/reinstalled and still no pop ups. I have version 1.12.2
