Hi,
I have a brand new 14" MacBook Pro (Apple M4 Pro, 24 GB, Sequoia 15.5), which is hooked up to 2 HP monitors via a Belkin Universal USB-C Triple Display Dock. I find that if I'm using a particular monitor for something like a video chat, or I'm working on a large spreadsheet, it will turn black for a few seconds every now and again. Is anybody else experiencing this and is there a solution? There are no loose connections, and it feels like it's power-related since it happens to be the monitor that I'm using more vigorously at that time. Thanks - L |

Hello 71Datsun,
Please ensure that both DisplayLink Manager and the Belkin dock firmware are fully up to date. Also, verify that the dock is receiving sufficient power to eliminate any power-related issues. If the problem persists, you might also try using a different USB-C cable. If the issue continues, feel free to reach out to our support team directly and share some additional details.

Whenever I print to my Network printer, the two additional screens go blank for a few seconds.
This is network printing, via WiFi, so there is no power change on the adaptor as you might expect with a USB printer. Interestingly, I also have a USB label printer and thermal ticket printer - I can use both of these without any black screens. I'm using a MacBook Pro M1 with an Orico DisplayLink adaptor and two external monitors (for three different screens) Last edited by Mouse; 08-02-2025 at 10:54 AM. |
