Dear DisplayLink Support,
Running macOS 12.7.2 Monterey on M1 MacBook Air with DisplayLink Manager 1.10.2. Need LoginExtension-EXE for login screen displays—current downloads require macOS 14+. The manager app displays an extension labeled as 'Available to download,' but the link fails or redirects to an incompatible version. Plugable KB confirms 1.10.2 compatibility for macOS 12. Request: Direct download link for macOS 12-compatible LoginExtension-EXE or alternative install method. Thank you, |

Hi nishant.singh,
Thanks for spotting this. I confirm currently published Login Screen Extension prevents from installing on older macOS versions than macOS Ventura 13.5 and this is not intended. We are working on publishing an updated pkg file which should address this. Is there any reason why you don't update to more recent macOS version? Your MacBook Air M1 supports all modern versions including macOS 26 Tahoe. Regards Szymon |
