I am seeking urgent technical assistance with my FQQ quad multi-screen setup.
Following the installation of macOS 26.5 (25F71) this morning, my FQQ display unit stopped working immediately. I am using a November 2023 16-inch MacBook Pro with the Apple M3 Max chip. The monitors are no longer being detected at all. I have already attempted the following troubleshooting steps: • Reinstalled DisplayLink / FQQ drivers • Restarted the Mac multiple times • Disconnected and reconnected all cables • Tested different USB-C ports • Re-granted Screen Recording permissions in macOS • Uninstalled and reinstalled DisplayLink Manager Unfortunately, nothing has resolved the issue. Before updating to macOS 26.5, the setup was functioning properly without any problems. Has anyone else experienced this issue after updating to macOS 26.5? Is the FQQ quad monitor officially compatible with macOS 26.5 and Apple Silicon M3 Max devices? I have an important presentation scheduled shortly and would greatly appreciate any immediate solutions, workarounds, or confirmed fixes. Thank you in advance. |

Hello,
Would you share which FQQ model exactly you are using? Preferably with a link to their website. Regards, Szymon |

I was able to get my FQQ quad monitor working again after the macOS 26.5 (25F71) update on my 16-inch MacBook Pro M3 Max.
The issue appears to be related to the older DisplayLink/FQQ drivers not being fully compatible with macOS 26.5. i have the FQQ 16 inch quad monitor . 16" Laptop Screen Extender Monitor Portable, Quad Monitor, Just 1 Cable for 3 Screens, FHD 1200P IPS Laptop Extender Compatible with Wins/Mac for 13.6" - 18.5" Laptops What fixed it for me: Completely uninstall the old DisplayLink/FQQ drivers Reboot the Mac Install the updated driver provided by FQQ: https://www.ideaworldhk.com/xzzx Re-enable Screen Recording permissions for DisplayLink Manager in: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording Reboot again After doing this, the monitors were detected properly and started functioning again. Hopefully this helps anyone else experiencing the same issue after updating macOS. |
