1.2.65 release is not compatible with Ubuntu 17.04. Please wait for an updated driver, which should be coming this month.

Found this script which is working on Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty: https://github.com/AdnanHodzic/displaylink-debian
Though I have the problem that my monitor is detected, but no resolutions are available, so I still cannot use it :/ |
