Error Intel HD Graphics 520 incompatible
I have a Lenovo T460s with Intel HD Graphics 520 and I am trying to use an USB to DVI adapter with DisplayLink driver. However, when I attempt to install the driver and it checks for compatibility, I get the error below:
Your primary graphics card (Intel(R) HD Graphics 520) is not supported by DisplayLink software on this PC unless the graphics card is changed to a supported model. I tried the latest available driver, 8.0 M2, first. Since then I've tried 7.9 M2, 7.9 M4, 7.9 M7 and finally the 8.0 Beta 4. All have given the same error. I cannot find anywhere on the support site where it states that the Intel HD Graphics 520 is not compatible. Thanks for your assistance. |

Hello,
Would you please be able to give me the logs for your machine? My forum post signature explains how to do this. This sounds like you are using an older graphics driver. Your graphics card is supported by DisplayLink and quite common. Kind regards, Alban

I will work on getting the install log. My work laptop is restricted so I can't run the utility myself.
